Washington State has a Zero Tolerance stance towards underage drinking. Persons under 21 years of age can be convicted of DUI with a BAC .02% or greater.

The percentage of alcohol in the bloodstream is affected by many variables including: age/gender, weight, rate of consumption, food consumed prior to drinking, stress and/or anxiety, drugs and medication.
