Business Advisory Council
Mission Statement
The Business Advisory Council (BAC) is a partnership convened by the Washington State Liquor Control Board (WSLCB) to advise the Board Members and their staff on broad issues and concerns affecting the agency’s business and regulatory activities.
Goals
The goals of the BAC are to:
- Maintain regular communication between Board Members and staff and the persons and entities the agency regulates.
- Provide a regular forum for customers and stakeholders to raise issues and concerns with the WSLCB.
- Provide a forum for the WSLCB to receive feedback on future direction, ideas, and plans the WSLCB is considering.
- Provide information to the WSLCB about current and future alcohol beverage industry issues and trends.
Council Scope and Membership
Beginning June 2002, the WSLCB will convene meetings at least quarterly, to be held at times and in locations determined by BAC members. All meetings will be open to the public.
BAC members are appointed by the WSLCB for terms of four years. Members will consist of representatives from organizations that the WSLCB regulates. The WSLCB reserves the right to add or subtract members as it deems necessary.
